Sales of one man indie game hit, Minecraft, have now reached $350,000 in a single day
Minecraft development started on May 10, 2009, soon after Persson had quit his job as a game developer for King.com in order to concentrate on independent development.
The game was first released to the public on May 17, 2009 as an "alpha" build;
On January 12, 2010, the number of registered users reached 100,000.[17] As of September 28th 2010, it has surpassed 919,000 registered users and 265,000 purchases.

Minecraft is developed by Markus Persson. It's been under development since about May 10, 2009.“I started Minecraft after playing some Infiniminer with a couple of people from TigSource.
I realized that a game that simple yet that dynamic had a lot of potential to turn into a really great game, and kept coming up with things I wanted to change and stuff I wanted to add.
I had recently quit my job as a game developer to be able to focus more on indie game dev during my free time, and I was looking for a new game to develop. I had a few ideas floating around, but most required really long development times.
I realized that a game that simple yet that dynamic had a lot of potential to turn into a really great game, and kept coming up with things I wanted to change and stuff I wanted to add.

Definition by any other name; Guitar solos are a melodic passage, section, or entire piece of music
When most people refer to a guitar solo it is in reference to a passage or section of music. You can find a guitar virtuoso that can do amazing things but a true solo is that moment in a song which fireworks into complimentary fulfillment.
The guitarist doesn't have to be a virtuoso to have a good solo.
